Overview
Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) is an MMORPG developed by Square Enix in which players become adventurers in the fantasy world of "Hyderin" and advance the story of saving the world while completing a variety of quests. The original FFXIV was released in 2010, but due to critical acclaim, development was redone from scratch and the game was redesigned as "A Realm Reborn" in 2013. Since then, numerous expansion packages have been released and are still being expanded.

Main Characters

The protagonist of this game in the trailer.
In Japanese, he is called 'Hiroshi'.
There is a theory that the reason he is called 'Hiroshi' is because Hiroshi Takai, a former FFXIV development staff member, gradually assimilated into CG Midlander as he was called things like 'Go for it Hiroshi' when playing FFXIV on live broadcasts.
Y'shtola Rhul
A beautiful woman of Mikotte (Sunseeker) whom the Warrior of Light, who started as an adventurer in Limsa Lominsa, meets. Her class is illusionist.
In addition to her healing magic, she is also able to manipulate advanced magic, and in many scenes, the barrier she puts up allows them to escape from a tight spot.
She is also well versed in ancient languages and folklore, and is very enigmatic and does not appear to be an ordinary traveler.
Thancred Waters
A person whom adventurers (PCs) who have landed in Uludaha will meet.
He is a handsome man of the Huran tribe (Midlanders).
He is a bard who speaks romantically to women wherever he goes and offers them love poems, but he also has an unusual air about him as he plays tricks on his enemies with his dagger.
Ascian Emet-Selch
A mysterious character in the Shadowbringers.
He is extremely popular and was ranked 6th in the character category in a popularity poll of all FF series conducted by a Japanese TV program.
