Summary

Always with a smile on her face, she is a girl who puts all her energy into enjoying today more than tomorrow.

While she is popularly known as the self-proclaimed "Signboard Girl" of the cafe "LycoReco," she is actually one of the strongest DA (Direct Attack) First Lycoris in history, and is famous among Lycoris for "solving the old radio tower case" at only 7 years of age. She is famous among Licorice for "solving the old radio tower case" when she was only 7 years old.

Despite this background, he leads a cheerful and active life, and has established close relationships with Takina Inoue and the other members of the cafe "LycoReco" as well as with the townspeople who frequent the store.

Shinji Yoshimatsu of the "Alan Institute" considers him a "genius at killing" and offers him assistance, but she herself is unaware of what kind of genius he is, nor is she informed of it.

Appearance

She wears her yellowish-white hair in a bob cut, asymmetrical, with the left side of her hair curled and decorated with a red ribbon. Her limbs have been carefully trained as a first-class agent, and she has immeasurable strength beneath her supple contours.

She is usually dressed in red, including the coloring of her Licorice uniform, her work clothes at the coffee shop "LycoReco," as well as the ribbons that tie her hair and the coloring of her personal clothes. On the other hand, in private, we see a different side of her, such as sleeping on the sofa in her underwear (episode 2) or wearing white pajamas with twin-tails (episode 6), and her clothes (including underwear) and hairstyle have also attracted viewers' attention.

Furthermore, as for the bulge in her breasts, it is so visible even from the top of her uniform, so much so that there were suspicions that a bulletproof plate had been inserted in the early days of the broadcast.

In the first episode, we can see them in the scene where she walks alongside her partner Takina or stands up from a bench.

She is lively, free-spirited, and cheerful.

As the opening line says, she is a self-professed ephemeralist, and she has an energetic personality that gets everyone around her involved and having fun.

In contrast to her superficial impression of playfulness, she also has an optimistic side, and often hides her true feelings with her aloof and elusive behavior.

Because she has a firm foundation within herself, Chisato is able to be considerate of others' feelings and make efforts to make them happy. Such broad-mindedness and flexible strength are evident not only in her usual unselfish help to others at the cafe "LycoReco," but also throughout the story, such as in the scene in episode 3 when she shows "moving on" to Takina, who has been denied the chance to return to the DA headquarters.

On the other hand, there is also a touch of innocence appropriate for her age when she is close to Takina.

Her childish behavior is often seen in the way she mercilessly calls Mizuki Nakahara, a fellow waitress at the cafe LycoReco, a "drunk," and in the way she clings to her classmate Fuki Harukawa in a spoiled voice.

When it comes to games, she hates to lose and is even a little bit aggressive, taking pleasure in beating her opponents under favorable conditions. Even in a small game, she fully demonstrates her fighting ability, which will be described later, and goes all out to win, even if it is rock-paper-scissors-scissors (with Chisato's talent, it is basically a must-win game).

On the other hand, she sometimes falters and backpedals when approached unexpectedly, showing that she is a strong pusher but weak when pushed.

She seems to be a movie buff, especially Western movies, which can be seen from the DVDs on her living room table in episodes 2 and 8. In episode 8, even though they are enemies, she and Majima, who also likes foreign films, were having a good time talking about movies.

In episode 7, when he drew a portrait of the terrorist Majima, his hair color barely matched his own, and the result looked nothing like Majima himself (although Majima is currently the only character with green hair).

Faith

The motto of the group is "Cherish Life," and the group is thoroughly nonlethal and respectful of human life, which is an anathema among Licorice, where murder is permitted and human life is often disregarded. Even enemies are neutralized using non-lethal rubber bullets (quite expensive), and depending on the condition of the wound, first aid is also provided. When an enemy is captured, a private organization called "Cleaner" is requested to protect the captured enemy and cover up the incident, instead of the DA to which he belongs.

Regarding missions from the DA, which often calls for murder, they do not accept them unless there is an imminent threat to human life.

Although her stance is disparaged by other Licorice, who basically shoot and kill the enemy, as "naive," conversely, it is proof that she is capable of upholding her belief of non-lethal action in actual combat.

Commander Kusunoki seems to have reluctantly tolerated her actions, calling her "cocky but brilliant." At the beginning of the first episode, an emergency order is sent out via Mika to rescue Lycoris, who was taken hostage, and neutralize the perpetrator (the target of interrogation) by not killing him.
